Thames, Romie was born on May 19, 1936 in Manning, SC to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Ollie Thames. Romie departed this life on March 29, 2017, he was 80 years old. He is preceded in death by 10 of his siblings.
Romie Thames leaves to cherish his memories 2 sons, Michael Thames and Romie Jr.; 5 sisters, Clurttie Blonding, Odessa Cantey, Lillie Mae (Rev. Dr. Gibson Jr.) Gibson, Margie Thompson, and Mary Viola Wilson; 2 brothers Sampson and Oldest Thames; 1 very special and close friend Tony Burgess, many grand and great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
There will be a Viewing on Wednesday, 4/5/2017 from 10:00 to 11:00am followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 O’clock at Riley-Antoine Funeral Home, 171 Humboldt Ave., Dorchester, MA 02121.
Interment: Oak Lawn Cemetery, Roslindale, MA
