Thomas E.  Collins
Thomas Eugene Collins, 86, of White Plains, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Martha (nee Dolan). Loving father of Patricia (Terrence) McLaughlin of Chicago, Mary Ann Collins (Larry Magargal) of Philadelphia, Fr. Thomas Collins, John (Mary), Joseph (Sherry), all of White Plains and Regina (Robert) Thomson of Eastchester.
Proud Grandfather of Sheila Ann (Richard Metzner), Sean, Brendan and Kevin McLaughlin,
Joseph (Jillian), Michael and Christopher Collins, Christian, John Paul, Gabriella and Ashley Collins, Peter, Bridget, Matthew and Daniel Thomson. Uncle to a multitude of Collins and Dolan nieces and nephews.
Dear son of the late Patrick and Sheila Collins and twin brother of the late Patrick J Collins, Jr.
Tom proudly served in the United States Army after he graduated from Iona College. He then spent his career in sales at Moore Business Forms. He shared his love of Golf with his children and was an active member at Winged Foot Golf Club. He served there on the Board of Governors and ran committees for the many US Opens and the PGA Championship held at the Club.
Tom was a loving spouse, father and grandfather. He taught them all Love of God, Love of Family and Generosity. He will be greatly missed by all his family. The family would also like to thank Carmelita, Rose, Val and Beverly for their loving care of Tom over the last three years.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Archbishop Stepinac High School.
