Linda Kay McCoy, 65, of Odessa, formerly of Andrews, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Amarillo.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2017 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Pastor Glenn Hammack of House of Mercy Ministries in Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.

Linda was born on December 14, 1951 in Denver City, Texas to Jimmy D. Bromley and Bobbie Lean Lippincott. She was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 1970. She married William “Bill” Kenny Hooper, and he preceded her in death. She married Norman “Butch” Ray McCoy on November 14, 1992 in Andrews, and he preceded her in death in 2007. She had worked in accounting for Southwest Convenience Stores. She loved to spend time visiting with her family, reading her bible, and loved her God. She was a member of House of Mercy Ministries. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Hooper, in 2016.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Melanie Wilson and husband, Larry, of Odessa, 2 sisters, Kathy Turner and husband, L.J., of Amarillo and Kim Porter and husband, James “Doak”, of Canyon, 5 grandchildren, Joshua Wilson and wife, Shay, of Odessa, Jeremy Wilson of Odessa, Caylyn Hooper of Andrews, Christopher Thompson and wife, Mariah, of Andrews, and Cullen Thompson of Andrews, 2 great grandchildren, Jacob Wilson of Odessa and Jaydyn Thompson of Andrews.
