Amado was an amorous husband, a caring father, a loving grandfather and kind neighbor. He was known for his strong faith in Jehovah and his sincere love for the people of his community. For 46 years he went door to door, conducted bible classes, gave public talks and participated in preaching and sharing the good news of the Kingdom of God. He did this obeying Jesus Christ commandment found in Matthew 28: 19, 20. Part of his preaching consisted in sharing God’s promise found in John 5: 28, 29 where it states: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…” Throughout this life, Amado left clear that his desire was for people to draw close to Jehovah God and to do his will. We will remember him with love.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a Biblical discourse at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
