The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Preston Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Preston John Arthur Smith
Peacefully holding his Mommy & Daddy’s hand at McMaster Children’s Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday April 11, 2017. Preston, our little angel whom we borrowed for 6 months from heaven. Precious Baby Boy of Amanda & Andrew Smith. Cherished grandson of; Grandma & Grandpa Bonnie Sue & Art Koenig, Nana & Papa Linda & George Donaldson, Grams & Gramps Marcie & Dennis Smith and Great-Pa Arthur Sayer. Lovingly remembered by his name-sake, Great-uncle John Sayer. Preston will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, family & friends.

A gathering to celebrate Preston’s life will be held at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Saturday April 22, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to honour Preston’s memory may be made to the Brain Tumor Research Fund, McMaster University Preston Smith.
