The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Della Weeks can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

2nd family

Oh my gosh where do we begin? There are so many memories to share with this woman and her family. We were next door neighbors for years in Sheldon. She was like my second Mom next door. She always made sure we were always okay and scolded us until we came to Sunday dinner with them. So many talks. So much advice. So many great game nights around the kitchen table. So many Christmas times with the family. I remember during hurricane Alicia, Bubba and I ran in the storm, through the hedges, to her house just to be safe lol. And we all sat in the hallway talking and laughing. Mona and I looked up and were sitting against the wall right by a full length mirror. We went, ok that would hurt if this fell. But we all made it through fine. She shared our pregnancy and loved Heather. To Heather that was always Weeks. We go to Weeks house. We laughed and cried and shared sports talks. She loved the Astros. And I just loved Biggio. Haha. I love that Lady and her family. She made such a huge impact on mine and Bubba's lives. We were so blessed to have her in our lives. . So many great times and memories to cherish and share. We love you guys. And we will always love you "Weeks. "
