Alberto Chavira Jr. Of Anson passed away April 13, 2017 at Hendrick Hospice Center.
Services will be Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 2 p.m at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 1300 Locust, Merkel Texas with Fr. Ronnie White officiating. Rosary will be Monday April 17, 2017 at 7pm at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel, 201 Edwards, Merkel Texas. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home.
Albert was born in Lockney, Texas December 6, 1968. He graduated from Merkel High School in 1988. He worked for the City of Anson. He enjoyed watching sports. His favorite team was The Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.
Albert was proceeded in death by his parents and step mother.
Survivors include his long life partner Cynthia Rodriguez of Anson; three sons, James Chavira and partner Presley of Stamford, Luis Rodriguez and wife Courtney of San Angelo, and Alberto III of Irving Texas; four daughters Sarah Kalen and husband Shiloh of Stamford, Katherina Rodriguez and partner Jerry of Anson, Crystal Moreno and husband Israel of Fort. Worth, and Gabriella Cardova of Irving Texas; brothers and sisters Melinda Torres from Memphis Texas, David Chavira from Midland Texas, Alisa Chavira from Merkel Texas, Anisa Lazaro from Dallas Texas, Arik Chavira from Merkel Texas, Irma Castillo from Clarendon Texas, Juanita Ramirez from Minnesota, and Jesse Chavira and Christopher Ramirez, both of Memphis Texas. 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
