The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Tonkonogy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was fortunate to get to know Dr Tonkonogy as a fellow at Umass from 1990 to 1992 and many ANPA meetings and dinners since. Often when he began talking about something or asking a question it took me a minute figure out where he was going (probably the language issue and my verbal learning problems) but then it would click and would add something or make a new connection. I've missed him the last few years at ANPA and will go on missing him.
