Obituary for
Darian O'Brien
Darian Jordan O'Brien, 21 of Chester and previously of Severna Park, MD, passed away from complications due to rare T cell Lymphoma. Darian was born in Annapolis on September 27, 1995 to Amy O'Brien and Quentin Smith. Darian enjoyed architecture, learning foreign languages, European history, traveling, video games, exotic cars, music, crabbing, and going to the beach. He also was passionate about collecting shoes, watches, jewelry and shopping. He most enjoyed taking car rides around Maryland with his "Pop Pop" just to take in the scenery and the serenity of the state he loved so much. Darian attended Anne Arundel County public schools and aspired to study toward a college degree in architecture. In his younger years, he worked as a paper carrier, and at the Kohl's department store.
In addition to his parents, Darian is survived by his sister, Madison Watson and his "Mom Mom" and "Pop Pop", Patricia and Gary Cranford. Friends are invited to celebrate Darian's life on Friday, April 21 from 11 am until his funeral service begins at 1 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment to follow Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Annapolis.
