The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Battor can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: John will always remain in my heart for all the laughter and stories shared over the years. His loyalty to his Missouri Tigers teams and dislike of the Jayhawks was made clear when he presented Auntie "Jayhawk" Norma Battor a handcrafted wooden toilet seat with the words "KU JAYHAWKS" placed lovingly on the seat. That was John, always creative and thrifty with his gifts. I will miss the Army Sized food dishes he would bring at Christmas gatherings.
Rest in Peace John, you are not forgotten.
