Virginia  Wills
Virginia Mae Chaney Wills, “Momma Wills”, 80, of Jessamine County, KY formerly of Pike County, passed away April 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 7, 1937 to the late Greely and Creda Blackburn Chaney.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband John Thomas “Thad” Wills. They were married for 43 years before his passing in 2008.

Virginia is survived by Three Sons: Matthew (Amy) Wills of Lexington, KY, Greg Wills of Versailles, KY and John (Amanda) Wills of Shelbyville, KY; Five Grandchildren: Avery, Ridley, Talan, Harper and Henry

Virginia graduated from Pikeville College Academy and continued on to receive a B.A. in English from Pikeville College. She retired from the Federal Government after 34 years.

She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 6PM-9PM at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home with a service at 7PM

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home with Donnie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY
