Obituary for Marianne Auer (Lehmann)

Marianne  Auer (Lehmann)
Of Waukesha has been reunited with her husband Erich in Our Fathers Kingdom, on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the age of 87 years. She was born in Krnjaja, Yugoslavia, the daughter of Frank and Magdalena (nee Dworatschek) Lehmann. Marianne married the love of her life, Erich Auer on April 25, 1952, he died three months later. She was a charter member of St. William Catholic Church and sang in the choir. Marianne was an amazing seamstress, knitter and was very involved in the Waukesha County Fair Senior Crafts; where she won many awards. Most of all she loved her family and never forgot the hardship she faced as a young person, this made her the strong person she was.

Marianne will be sadly missed by her sister, Anna Rill; nieces and nephew, Christina Rill, Anna (Jim) Bradach and Frank (Rhonda) Rill; great-nieces & nephews, Erica (Breck) Steffen, Robert (Julie) Hamilton, Christopher (Lena) Hamilton, Andrew (Courtney) Hamilton, Michael Rill, Lisa (Quentin) Lyons, Ryan Rill and Dan (Joellen) Bradach. She is further survived by twelve great-great-nieces & nephews and two great-great-great- niece and nephew; other relatives in Europe and Brazil and friends. Marianne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erich; her little brother Andeas; sister, Magdalena Lehmann and brother-in-law, Jacob Rill.

A visitation will be held for Marianne will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. The entombment will take place immediately following the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church would be appreciated (see address above).
