The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Betty Jean Sparks can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Terri J Smithson Beatty
Condolence: Our deepest condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to all of the Sparks family. Beatty was such a loving caring and nurturing lady. I remember meeting her when I was only 16 years old, and she was always so sweet and kind. I loved hearing her chuckle when Tim would tell stories of everything they did growing up in the neighborhood. She would chuckle, then give Tim a raised eyebrow, making sure to get her little thought of "you better behave!" I know she will be missed by her deeply devoted and loving families (sons, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, and all of her friends). She is now reunited with the love of her life -- her husband. Rest in peace Betty. Love you. Terri Smithson Beatty and family.
