Very sorry to hear about Ernie. We had some good times in Merrickville just chatting at the Goose and at the Legion. He was a good guy. He will terribly missed.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences go to all of Ernie's family. The Legion will never be the same for us without Ernie there. It is a great loss for our Branch as it was always volunteering. Personally we have lost a great friend. RIP Ernie.

Condolence: I met Ernie at dart's in Merrickville, always had a great time. Would also go out to the bar and we would dance to the Poka, what a blast. He was an awesome person and will be missed. Save a Poka for me up there. God bless.

Condolence: Shared many happy times over a few beer at the Goose and Gad's Hill. Ernie was a very kind hearted fellow and he will be greatly missed.

Condolence: I met Ernest when I first joined Legion Branch 245. We had a few words but eventually came to know each pretty good. He was always there helping and even in his last days he would not give up. It was only recently that I found out that my Linda knew him and his family from South Branch school.
