Condolence: Miss Bodily was my AP English teacher at Timpanogos High School during the 1998-1999 school year. She was brilliant, witty, and the first teacher I ever had who willingly provided her phone number to students in order to provide assistance at any time. I love her and will always admire how REAL she was. I now have a degree in English, partially because of her. She is forever a beautiful lady.

Condolence: Ms. Bodily was such a wonderful person. I was part of the NHS presidency at Mountain View which she led. She was a very kind mentor and I am grateful to have known her. She always made time for the students. She was strict, but loving. She will be missed!

Condolence: Like many others, I was an AP English student of Miss Bodily's at Timpanogos High. I had always loved reading and writing, but it was her influence that made me realize that's where I wanted to focus my career. I went on to graduate with an English lit degree and become an author. I credit much of this to her enthusiasm and guidance, so much that she is in the acknowledgements in my book. She was a dedicated teacher and loved mentor to so many of her students. All my love to her and her family.

Condolence: Ms. Bodily was my AP English teacher back in 2001, but here's the thing, I was not an AP caliber student. Nevertheless, Ms. Bodily's wit and professionalism led me to greater heights as a student. My love for literature grew that year immensely. I worked hard to keep up with her high standards, and felt extremely accomplished when I earned an A- in her class one term. I can honestly say that I am a better person today because of Sharon Bodily.

Condolence: I taught next to Sharon at THS. She was such a sounding board for me, and she gave the best advice. She always reminded me to "consider the source," and she was such an attentive listener. I knew she loved me, and she always supported me. She was often the first place I started every day and the last place I went as I exited the building. I will always treasure the time I spent with her.

Condolence: I enjoyed having Ms. Bodily as an AP English teacher. Like some others who have posted condolences, I also went on to have a career in English education. She wrote many letters of recommendation for me to get into college; she encouraged me to join the National Honors Society; she helped me pass the AP exam. I cannot thank her enough for her instruction, friendship, and mentorship. She will be missed.

Condolence: I have such fond memories of Miss Bodily. From her laughing because she spent $150 on a pair of shoes, "Cause you only live once" to the love she had for reading. I have dyslexia and hated reading from the time I was a little girl. Having Miss Bodily made me LOVE reading again. She was one of my favorite high school teachers and I graduated in '91. I will never forget her. She was an amazing teacher and an amazing woman. She will forever be missed

Condolence: Sharon's cheerful aspect on life brought much joy. We will miss her ready smile, discussions of BYU Football, and her sense of humor that brought smiles to our faces.

Hopefully she will enjoy her new mission as much as she enjoyed teaching at Mountain View.

We will miss her,

Linda and Doug
