Virginia H. Soska, 88, passed away on Monday, May 1st, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on August 7, 1928 to Wallace Edwin Hancock and Addie Pearl Clark in Thomasville, Georgia. Virginia adored her family and was generous with her love. She paid as much detail to their needs as she did as a clerk with the IRS. She was very active in the Nursery where she worshiped at First Baptist West Jacksonville. She will be remembered as a devoted Mother, and Grandmother. Her Husband of 40 years, Stanley S. Soska, preceded her departure from this world almost 25 years ago. Virginia is survived by a son, Frank William Soska (Noemi); two daughters, Catherine Ann Peters (Mark) and Patricia Lynne Soska; a brother, Gene Hancock (Jeannie); seven grandkids, Tamala, Randy, Steven, Stephanie, Christopher, Anthony and Aaron; five great-grandkids, Aiden, Emily, John, Evan and Grace.
The familywillreceive friends on Monday, May 8th, 2017 at 10AM in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of her life will begin at 11AM with Dr. Gene Hodges officiating. Interment will follow the service in Arlington Park Cemetery.
