Obituary for Estelle Marie Lockyer

Estelle Marie (Munzer) Lockyer, daughter of Estelle and Joseph Munzer, passed away Tuesday, May 2,2017 and went to be with her Lord. She was born in Philadelphia on Easter April 12, 1925, and nicknamed " Bunny ". She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Lockyer for 68 years and sister of the late Kay Neumayer. Church and family were the focal points of her life. She raised 4 children: Robert K. Lockyer (Judy), Paul D. Lockyer (Joyce), Bruce A. Lockyer (Ellen) and Carole Housel (Norman). She had 11 grandchildren who adored her : Robert J.(Millie), Sara Murphy (Matt), Benjamin ( fiancee' Dex), Stephanie, Laura, Bruce J., Kimberly, Christopher, Kyle, Cole and Clint. She was married and active in the Lindley Methodist Church, Phila; Holmesburg Baptist Church, Phila; Northampton Presbyterian Church, Holland. She and her family spent many summers in Ocean City, NJ, where they attended the O.C.Presbyterian Church and the O.C. Tabernacle. Family and friends will always remember her knowledge of the Bible, non - stop laughter and enthusiasm and endless energy. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 15th, 11:30 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053 ( 215 - 354 - 0085 ) . A viewing will be at 10:30 am to 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc., 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte , NC 28201 - 00001
