Obituary for Diane Marie Sneed (Tresidder)

Diane Marie Sneed (Tresidder)
Diane Marie Sneed passed away at her home after a valiant battle with leukemia on May 9, 2017. Her husband Steve, son Eric and sister Debby were at her side when she passed into the hands of our Lord. Diane was born March 4, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa, and grew up in San Juan, Texas. She earned her B.A. and Master’s degree from Texas A & I University. She also obtained the status of Licensed Professional Counselor. Diane retired from Pasadena Independent School District as a guidance counselor. She sent many young people along a positive path to enter their adult lives. After a few years of retirement, her husband convinced her to come help at the family business, General Laboratory Supply, Inc. Diane began her second career as an Accounts Receivable Manager and did so for over 10 years and in the end, even while battling leukemia. She was incredibly determined and a positive force to be reckoned with in everything she did. We will miss her bubbling personality, her ready smile and wonderful laughter.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Dwight Tresidder. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steve and her son, Eric: sister Debby Baker and her husband Marty: adored nephews Andrew and Shane Baker, their spouses and children.

After a private inurnment service, a celebration of Diane’s life will be held on June 3. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate).
