Mary Bobin (Boretsky)
Mary Bobin, 97, of York and formerly of Hometown, PA died May 7, 2017 at Rest Haven-York. She was the wife of the late John Bobin.

Born March 9, 1920 in Coaldale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hilarion and Justina (Petrosky) Boretsky.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Lansford, PA.

Mary is survived by her son, Dr. John and his wife, Mary A. Bobin of York; a granddaughter, Anne Bobin and a grandson, Michael Bobin. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Marie Bobin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Patrick Church, 219 S. Beaver Street, York with Rev. Keith Michael Carroll officiating. Burial will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Sky-View Memorial Park, 108 Lafayette Avenue, Tamaqua, PA 18252. Officiating at the burial will be Rev. John Frink of Saint John XXIII Parish.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Patrick Church, 219 S. Beaver Street, York, PA 17401.
