Obituary for Annette L. Borgia
Annette Louise Borgia, age 78 of Long Branch, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 while visiting family in England. Annette was born in London, England and had lived in New York City before moving to Long Branch 40 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church in West Long Branch and was a member of its Altar Rosary Society. Annette was an Executive Assistant for Wheelock Signal in Long Branch for 25 years retiring in 2005.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Winifred Sutton. Surviving are her husband, Edwin Borgia; two sons, Thomas and William Borgia; her sister, Irene Ellis; four grandsons, Thomas, Nicholas, Jacob and Luke Borgia; and a granddaughter-in-law, Ellie.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, Long Branch. Funeral, Friday; 9 am from the funeral home with a 10 am Mass at St. Jerome Church in West Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 216 Hadden Ave., Suite 328, Westmont, NJ 08108.The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
