Obituary for Antonietta Iuliano

Following a brief and courageous battle with brain cancer, Antonietta passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Palliative Care on the early morning of May 12, 2017.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Nicola of 52 years, her sons Gerry and Mark, her daughter Marylou, her daughter-in law Franca, her son-in law Robin and her grandchildren, Amanda, Adam and Nico.

She was the beloved sister to Rosina, Viola (Don), Bill (Lina), Ralph (Rosemary), Louie (Dawn). Dearest sister in-law to Pina, Domenico (Ada), Rosa (Bernardo), Gianna (Tony)

She will be fondly missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many of her dear friends.

She will be reunited in heaven with her parents Rosario and Raffaela, her brother Giuseppe and sister Giuseppina.

Antonietta will always be remembered for her great cooking, her green thumb, her love of gardening, flowers, birds, and most recently her love for travel. She lit up any room with her beautiful smile. She was very generous and kind. She was selfless. Always thinking of others first. For this, she had many great friends who loved her, surrounded her in her time of need and helped her throughout her illness. We give thanks to all her friends, family, and the staff at the Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit (K1-E) who helped with her care until the very end.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada or Palliative Care Unit c/o The Sunnybrook Foundation or Sick Children's hospital will be appreciated.
