Obituary for Maria Fuschetto
Maria Fuschetto of Mt. Vernon passed away on May 12, 2017. She was born on May 1, 1931 in Guardia Lombardi, Italy to Raffaele and Brigida Di Matteo. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gaetano and her loving sons Carmine and Ralph. Loving mother of Rocco (Angela) and Frank (Mary); dear mother in law of Matilda; cherished grandmother of Ralph, Maria, Raphaela, Joseph, Michael, Frank, Thomas and John and great grandmother of Chris Anthony, John Carlo, Isabella and Valentina; dear sister of Antonietta Di Leo. Maria is also predeceased by her sister Gaetana Scavone and her brother Rocco Di Matteo. Maria proudly worked for close to thirty years at the Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co in Mt. Vernon. She loved cooking for her family and truly enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Maria will be greatly missed by all. Family will honor Maria’s life on Monday May 15, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave, Mt. Vernon, NY 10552 (914) 699-4010. Funeral Mass Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle.
