Condolence: We are so very sorry to hear about 'Mr. Ben's' passing! He was always so kind and friendly; always giving a wave or stopping to chat if he had the time. We will miss his smiling face but know that he is in a better place watching down on all his loved ones. Please know you are all in thoughts during this time.

Condolence: Benny was one of my LR football idols growing up across from the LR practice field. My father treated him for spinal related injuries, when he was playing in the 60's. I will never forget as a 11 year-old on Dec. 01, 1962. After LR won the game against Northern State of South Dakota, I jumped over the wall of the stands and ran to Benny on the field. He picked me up and lifted me above his head. He always talked to all of the kids, who came to practice.Rest in peace #86.Carl P. Starnes,DC
