The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Betty Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Oh granny! I will definitely miss your spunk, sass and when you would answer the phone when I'd call and you'd start laughing and say "Oh Shan," even though all I said was "What up Granny". I have fond memories of me and you including taking you bra shopping, taking you to buy cigarettes and you bringing your handicap parking pass bc "there might not be any parking," you hitting me with your cane, the time you served us spoiled graded cheese and threw aluminum foil at grandpa, taking you to church where you either talked about people or fell asleep, taking you to McD's, and other craziness that I cannot put on here because its not very appropriate (I think you and I both know what I am talking about you silly little woman). I know you are at a better place full of what I am sure is warm weather, sweets and cigs. Keep them in line up there granny. Love your favorite chauffeur, SHAN.
