Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ronald Joly can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Deepest condolences to the family of Ron Joly. I am a current SCE employee who met Ron when I joined the Energy Control in 1988. Ron was a fantastic employee who gave everyone he interfaced with the benefit of his knowledge along with his quick witted nature in every encounter. I knew Ron until he retired and I would like to have the family know that he is still remembered fondly by those of us that worked with him when he was here. We are all better for having had him here and in our lives.

Condolence: Ron and I "met" through our mutual interest in family history. We are both direct descendants of Joseph and Edesse Gariepy, our great grandparents. I had little knowledge of my grandmother Marie Elizabeth Gariepy's (Davis) history until Ron put together and posted the Gariepy history on an LDS family history file. My grandmother had left Quebec for the west when she was very young and the family history didn't include her. Ron made inquiries of one of his very old uncles on my behalf who confirmed the family connections. In that way, Ron reconnected my grandmother (and me) to her (our) family. We believe in the eternal nature of family relationships so that re-connection was a great blessing. Ron and I never met face to face but I have always felt a very close connection to him. I am very sorry to hear of his passing and express my and my family's sincere condolences. Regards, Clyde Davis
