Obituary for Una Alice York (Hackler)
Service for Una Alice York, 88, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 22, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Billy Hackler will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Weldon Everett York Jr., Tommy Othell York, Christopher Aaron York, James Mathew Underwood, Brandon Eugene Davis, Russell Dick Cook, and Adam Moses Marti. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the funeral home.
Una Alice York passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born Oct. 12, 1928 in Coleman County, TX to William Winton and Ida Alice Thomas Hackler. She married Othell Everett York on March 6, 1948 in Rio Vista.
Mrs. York was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother; sister, and a dear friend to many. She was a member of Parker Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Joyce Ware and Donna Kay Davis, both of Rio Vista; sons, Gary Othell York, Weldon Everett York and Jimmy Wayne York, all of Cleburne; 22 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Merle Manning of Rio Vista; and brother, James Hackler of Cleburne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Othell Everett York; daughters, Barbara Dale Underwood and Brenda Alice York; grandchildren, Jayme Lynn Underwood and Steven Jay Wynn; brother, Winnie Lee Hackler and a sister, Lona Mae Pritchard.
