BEATRIZ ELIZABETH DE LEON
EDINBURG – Beatriz Elizabeth De Leon, 49, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 15, 2017, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Tulare, California, she lived in Edinburg until the age of 19 and moved to Houston and lived there for over 20 years where she married and had 2 beautiful children. Until her return to Edinburg in 2004, “Bea” as she was affectionately known, worked at Herman Memorial Hospital, made many friends, and celebrated life with her husband and children. Bea was a movie goer, loyal friend, hard worker, but most importantly she was generous, kind, thoughtful, and sincere. Bea had a huge heart for everyone, a will that never broke, and a spirit that shined.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Juan and Isabel Moreno; uncles, J.D., Jose, Armando; and an aunt, Minerva.
Bea is survived by her mother, Adelaida Moreno Gaitan; children, Victor De Leon II, Adriana De Leon; sister, Barbara Ann Gonzalez; brothers, Jose Roman Gonzalez, Cruz Gaitan Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, May 19, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
