My eldest son Shawn transitioned at the young age of 36.
Tami , Mary and the rest of the team has gone above and beyond helping our family deal with his passing.
Everything we requested was granted and even things we did not think about the suggested.
On the day of his viewing Tami came in one her day off to be with us, her team on duty were super phoneminal.
We were truly blessed to have Tami and her team by our side through this sad event.
On behalf of the entire Khan family ( not just blood family ) , from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for everything you did for us.
May all of you forever be blessed for what you offer grieving families.
Endless love and respect.

Obituary for Christopher Glen Garrow

Christopher Glen Garrow

Christopher Glen was born June 27, 1956 in Dorval, Quebec to his parents Patricia and Grant Garrow. He was the middle child in his family, with an older brother, John, and younger sister, Trisha. He enjoyed growing up in their home in Dorval – sneaking cookies into his closet, playing ice hockey, and getting into mischief whenever he could. His family would visit Lake MacDonald in the summers and he always enjoyed being out on the water.
As a teenager, he didn’t particularly enjoy school and eventually left to attend a diving school where he later received his certification to be a commercial diver. His family meanwhile had been making trips back and forth between Canada and Florida, and eventually decided to move permanently to Daytona Beach. He moved with them at age 17, but returned to Canada to complete his diving school.
While back in Canada he met his future wife, Carolyn, at a dinner with some mutual friends. The two hit it off quickly and dated for about 8 months before they were engaged. After their wedding in March of 1984, the couple moved to Florida to start their new life together. They first settled in Clearwater, FL where Glen started working hard in the window-tinting business. He had a great mind for business and had aspirations of owning his own one day. Tragically, he lost his brother John in 1986. The two had been very close friends and roommates prior to Glen meeting Carolyn. In 1988 the Garrow family grew with their first daughter Laura and then Heather in 1990.
The family enjoyed Clearwater, but in time Glen was ready to start his own business and needed a fresh market. They moved across the state to Port Orange, near where both of his parents lived. Glen worked hard at multiple jobs while building up his new business, Tropical Glass Tinting. He became well-known and respected for his diligent work. Meanwhile his children were growing up and thriving in Port Orange. Glen’s dream of building his own house came true in 2002 when the family moved into their beautiful home on Riverside Drive that he had worked so hard for. In later years Laura left for college and Heather followed – both to the University of Florida. Glen became an avid Gator fan in support of them, and enjoyed visiting Gainesville with Carolyn.
As time passed, Glen fell on some difficult times in 2016-2017. He developed some serious issues with depression and alcohol, and began to spiral out of control. His family has watched in misery and tried to intervene as he continued to make sad choices. On May 18, 2017 he tragically took his own life at their home. There are no words to express the emptiness left by him, to all who knew him. He is survived by Carolyn, his wife of 33 years, his daughters Laura and Heather, and his sister Trisha. He was a strong, quiet, caring father and husband. The man he was will be missed greatly.
