Agnes "Ardell" O'Fallon, nee Condon, 82, of Excelsior, formerly of Waconia, passed away Monday, May 22nd 2017 at the Augustana Chapel View in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Memorial service will be held Friday, June 2nd, 2017. Visitation from 1-3pm with a service at 3pm at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 460 Lake St SW, Hutchinson, MN. Fr. Jerry Meidl will officiate. Private interment.

Ardell was born on December 2, 1934 in Litchfield, MN. She was the daughter of William C. and Marie C. [nee Miller] Condon. Ardell was baptized as an infant in April 1935 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church in Forest City, MN and later confirmed in her faith in June 1946 at St. Columbanus's Catholic Church in Green Leaf, MN.
On November 30, 1957 Ardell was united in marriage to Joseph O'Fallon at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, MN. Their union was blessed with 5 children and they made their home in Hutchinson, Mound, Waconia and Excelsior.

Ardell and her siblings grew up on farms in Forest City and later Cedar Mills, MN. She received her education at Hutchinson, MN. In 1970 she received her High School G.E.D. at Waconia, MN and started working for the Waconia Ridgeview Hospital. She worked as a CNA for Ridgeview for 27 years. Starting out in the O.B. Dept. helping many young mothers through delivery, as well as caring for the newborns in the nursery. She also worked in the pediatrics, geriatric and Homecare Depts. She was dedicated to Ridgeview and loved her job. She found it very rewarding and upon retirement, Ardell volunteered for Ridgeview at the receptionist desk.

Ardell was also an active member of the AA Family in Waconia, belonging to Al-Anon throughout the 70's and 80's. She gave council and lent many a listening-ear to fellow Al-Anoners. She will be remembered and missed by the AA Family.

Ardell enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved reading and watching movies, many times doing both at the same time. She was known for her ability to strike up conversations with anyone at any place. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. She will be missed.

Ardell was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Condon; parents in law, Cecil and Margaret Fallon; son, Gerard; daughter, Roz; grandson, Michael Oelfke; siblings, Cathy (Ray) Ewald, Howard (Myrtle) Condon, LaNora (Alvin) Schlueter, and Patrick; and brother in law, Harold Maresch.

Ardell is survived by children, Teresa O'Fallon (Mark Hollyday), Kathy (Brad) Oelfke, and Joe O'Fallon; grandchildren, Eric and Krysta Oelfke; step-grandchildren, Rob and Adam Hollyday; siblings, Betty Maresch, Diane (John) Bastian, and Michael Condon; sister in law, Virginia Condon; nieces & nephews; and Joseph O'Fallon.
