Mr. Jerry Lee Raby, of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the age of 51. He was born August 2, 1965 in Wynne, Arkansas, the son of Gerald Lee Raby and Minnie (Barker) Moore.
Mr. Raby was chief technician for Sudden Link Communications for twenty six years. His hobbies included tinkering with electronics, remote control planes and helicopters. Mr. Raby loved telling jokes. His greatest joy was spending time with his children.
Mr. Raby is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Jones) Raby and surrogate wife, Angela Lawson; his children, Ashley Browning, and husband, Adam of Jonesboro, Noah Raby of Newport, Seth Raby of Newport, Sandra Thompson of Newport, Jordan Lawson and Justin of Little Rock, and Graham Lawson and Sarah of Newport; father, Gerald Lee Raby of Star City; mother, Minnie (Barker) Moore and Bobby of Walnut Ridge; one brother, David Raby and Tammy of Weiner; one sister, Starla Raby and Doug of Newport; first wife, Cindy Pelkey, and husband, Eddie of Fort Worth, Texas, special friend, Linda Reeves of Tuckerman; five grandchildren.
Those honored to serve as honorary pallbearers are Doug Barrows, Eddie Pelkey, Bobby Moore, and the employees of Sudden Link Communications.
