It is with happy memories and saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Mallette at the young age of 75, who passed away on Sunday June 4th, 2017 at Bluewater Health in Sarnia.
Always by his side his beloved wife and life long partner of 51 years, Judy Mallette (Burlingham).
Loving father of Michael, Tony (Melissa) and Lisa Mallette (Rob Hunt).
Cherished grandfather and story teller to Ashley, Brad, Rylie, Marcel and Angele.
Survived by sister Rhoda Bedard, Sister in law Veronica “Ronnie”, Step sisters Anna McManaman and Paulette Jewel. Step brother Norm Mayer and predeceased by brother Norman Mallette (2005).
Ray enjoyed a rewarding career in construction as a long term member of Local 95.
He enjoyed the outdoors, golf, telling stories and spending time with friends and family.
Many stories and “Molson’s” shared with special friend Claude Cormier.
Throughout his life Ray was an avid sportsman and dedicated Blue Jays fan.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 7th at Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 608 Errol Road West in Sarnia from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Celebration of Life for Ray will be held at Greystone Golf Course, 2218 Confederation Line in Sarnia on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:00am.
Please remember Ray for his witty sense of humour and mischievous smile.
In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed to the M.S. Society of Canada or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
