Obituary for Mary Margaret Falkenberg (Dunnigan)
It is with deep sadness the family of Mrs. Mary Margaret Falkenberg of Edmonton announce her passing on June 6, 2017, at the age of 73 years.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 50 years, Leigh; son, Stephen (Josie); two daughters, Marnie (Brad) and Bonnie (Maury); grandchildren, Kurstyn, Brenna, Vanessa, Adele, Ava and Faren; three brothers and one sister, Hugh (Audrey), Isabel, Neil (Susan) and Michael (Sheila); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, James and Alexandra Dunnigan; brother, David; sister, Sandra; brother-in-law, John; and nephew, Jim.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at the University of Alberta Hospital for their loving care.
Funeral Mass Wednesday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, 10555 – 50A Street with Reverend Mitchell Fidyka officiating. Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lung Association, Alberta and NWT, Box 4500, Station South, Edmonton, AB T6E 6K2 or to a charity of your choice.
