The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jonathan King can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Jonathan was such a great soul. Made everyone laugh out when they couldn’t he made them at least feel ok with some kind of significance in this big world. It’s been tears yet still I remember arguments with you when you almost swore you were invincible, as do SO many ppl I know and many others I have lost. You were such a goofball and you also loved more than anyone I know especially your mom and sisters- hated to ever hurt any of them and always prayed your little shrew rach would look up to all your better parts and blamed urself if she picked up any of your bad traits. You would be so proud if you saw her now and the best uncle I imagine- I hope you know I still swear I know what you did when we all went on that walk and I swore you and her were CRAZY ... until I realized you weren’t & you did something for me no one else ever could imagine for that I’ll forever be grateful. You taught me the only way to kill evil is with love & kindness. The harder they hate the more you just love and vice versa ; impossible to lose with that and we made it home that night despite thinking it was all a dream or we might not. Driving home I realized what happened.
Thank you. Forever you’ll be missed and remembered singing so much good music and anyone who knew you was a lucky person keep us safe strong and sane& sry I couldn’t save or get you your poem red meets blue bc I know u were proud of that one-how ironic huh? Wait till I see you I’m kicking ur butt I hope you do know- still didn’t make it any easier just sad —

Condolence: I have had the pleasure to work with and get to know Jonathan and what a caring, compassionate and brilliant man he was. He was thoughtful and always cared for others. And he sure could talk your ear off with all he had to say! My prayers are with this family. Please know he is always with us and is finally at peace.
