Obituary for Larry F. Kelly

Larry F. Kelly, 65, of Scranton, PA passed away
on Saturday, June 10, 2017. He is survived by
his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Kelly.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of the
late Joyce Kelly. After high school, Larry enlisted
in the United States Air Force while also
attending the University of Florida where he
received a Bachelor of Science degree in
. Business Management. He served his country
for 26 years, was a Vietnam Veteran, and
honorably achieved the rank of Chief Master
Sergeant. Following his Military service, he
spent 11 years at the VA Medical Center- Wilkes
Barre. Since his retirement in 2015, he enjoyed
working outdoors doing yard work, and
spending quality time with his devoted wife.
His greatest joy came from spending time with
those he loved-his friends and family especially
his daughters, Rhonda Rothman of Chesapeake
VA, Shonda Bova of Chatfield MN, Amanda
Mallery of Scranton, PA, Miranda Butler of
Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren Eric, Brooke,
Jessica, Alec, Ryan, Robert, David, Jacob, Katie,
Emily and his brother R.E. Jones. Larry was a
loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend
to all.
Private funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted and are under the care of the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc. 436 Cedar Ave. Scranton.
