Obituary for Thomas Collins Mahan

Thomas Collins  Mahan
Thomas Collins Mahan, 82, of Warsaw, passed away at home peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Thomas was the son of Harold and Ethel Mahan, born on Monday, July 2, 1934 who was a retired warehouse manager for Northern Neck Electric Cooperative.

He is survived by his wife, Carol “TT” Brann Mahan; son, Michael Collins Mahan (Rosemary) of Coles Point; daughter, Lisa Mahan Lewis (Larry) of Lottsburg; brother, Virgil Hugh Mahan of Tampa, FL; sister, Dorothy Lee Blevins of Bristol, VA; three grandchildren, Charlotte Lamb Mahan, John Collins Lewis and Erin Rose Beauchamp and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas is preceded in death by his brothers, Harold, Jr., Melvin, Sam and Richard Mahan and half-sister, Judy.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Yeocomico Episcopal Church with interment following in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 pm -8 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Welch Funeral Home- Marks Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Tappahannock Hospice at 618 Hospital Road, Tappahannock, VA 22560 or Animal Welfare League at PO Box 975, Kilmarnock, VA 22578.
