The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeraldyne Evans can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Patsy Collins
Condolence: Janet,
It is sad to know of your mom's passing. I first knew her when she worked at Lawson's Beauty Shop. I admired her after knowing her many years at Valley Grove. May God comfort you in this great loss.

Condolence: Hal and family,
I am sorry to learn about Jeri's passing. We are never ready to lose our moms. I remember many hours spent with my Mom at her beauty shop. May you have peace in your hearts as you remember a life well lived.

Condolence: I am sad to hear of the passing of my friend Jerri. I first met her in the early 60's at her beauty shop. Later I had the honor of working with her in WMU and at Valley Grove Baptist Church in the 90's. She was a fine Christian woman and friend.I treasure a lovely trinket box she made for me. I know heaven is a more beautiful today because Jerri is there. My sympathy to her family.
