Condolence: My first contact with Georgia was 20yrs ago while attending Univ. New Hampshire. I was writing a paper for my introduction to Nursing class and came across some info on Forensic Nursing. I contacted the association who referred me to Georgia. We met at a SANE program where she was instructing. I soon found out that she was helping to "blaze the trail" for others in Forensic Nursing. We were able to catch up at a conference some years later and she was still just as kind and humble as ever. What a privilege to have known her. Many prayers to the family in your time of loss and praying God will comfort you as only He can. Respectfully, Courtney Monterusso

Condolence: Tony, Georgia and I served together at the 351st Gen. Hosp. unit for many, many years. Georgia was a wonderful Officer, leader, and friend. A spunky, take-charge person, but also sensitive, funny and friendly. Will never forget our time served together. So she fought THIS long battle with all she had Its time now for her to rest in peace. Prayers with you, Tony, and all your family. She will never be forgotten.....

Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting the Colonel when i joined the 351st as a second lieutenant. She was always so,kind to me. She may have been small in stature but her personality more than made up for that! I thought it was the greatest thing that while we were on AT at Ft Drum her husband sent her icecream by mail!! Even when i worked with her later in civilian life i could never bring myself to call her by her first name..she was always ma'am to me..

Condolence: I'm very sorry for your loss. I would have loved to have met her and study under her she sounded like a fabulous person, wife, mother, grandmother and coworker. I'm a forensic nurse but would have loved to have been near her to know her. She sounds like there will be many memories to tell and always have that love in your heart. May God Bless each of you.

Condolence: I was deeply saddened to hear about Georgia's passing. I graduated with Georgia from the first Forensic Nursing program at Fitchburg State, which was a program that came to fruition because of Georgia. She was a terrific classmate, role model and teacher. Her passion for forensic nursing could never be matched. She was a champion, and will always be fondly remembered. My thoughts and prayers to her family.
