Paul J. Vitcavage of South Scranton died Tuesday June 13, 2017 at home.
Born in Scranton he is the son of Eleanor and Joseph Vitcavage. A graduate of Bishop Hannan High School, he was employed by Kelley Bros. in Clarks Summit.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman and also enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden every summer.
Also surviving are daughter Sarah Kramer and husband Howard, Scranton; grandson Matthew who knew Paul as “Grampy”; brother Joseph Vitcavage and wife Sue, CT; sister Mary Ellen Reynolds and husband Donald, NY; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted on Saturday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc. 436 Cedar Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., Scranton. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Throop will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception 400 Michigan Ave. N.E. Washington, DC 20017-1566.
