Condolence: Evie and I did a lot together through the years I have known her. She was a very active lady and never liked to sit still. Since I wasn't much for sitting still, we ended up doing a lot together as a team. The first renovation job we did was finishing the addition on Kim's and my house. She helped do all the stone work. The next project was re-insulating John and Evie's house by stripping the inside walls down to the studs. Then we finished dry walling the walls again. By this time we got to be close friends. Who can say that about there mother-in-law? We ended up working a lot of house reno jobs. She really enjoyed that kind of work.
It was hard to see her slowing down and age catching up with her. She didn't like it much either, because she talked about it a lot. She loved her kids and her grand children very much and talked about them all the time, always hoping the best for them to succeed in life. I will always love you Evie, and I will miss you a lot.

Condolence: I will miss Evie tremendously as my next door neighbor. I have lived here for 22 years and it was comforting to know that Evie was always here. She was so active and took such pride in her yard and home. Whenever I'd go out or come home, if Evie was outside, which she often was, we took time to chat or say hello or commiserate on the the state of the world.

She's in heaven now with her beloved Johnny, but in between cuddles with him, I am sure she is happily helping God tend to his great lawn. I miss you already, Evie! Rest in peace, and my sincere condolences to her family..
