Christine Celeste Redy (nee Hausmann), 61 of Harmony Township, NJ passed away on Sunday June 25, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune with her family by her side. Christine was raised in Irvington and a graduate from Vail Deane School, Elizabeth. She received her certificate of Nursing from Ann Mae School of Nursing and later her BS from Monmouth University. Christine had lived in Pittsburgh for several years before returning to NJ. She was a nurse for over 32 years working at Atlantic Care, Atlantic City. Christine, an avid boating enthusiast, enjoyed football and was an animal lover, devoted mother and grandmother, but what was most important to her was her family, especially her grandchildren. Christine gave in death, as she gave in life. She was an organ and tissue donor.

Christine is survived by her husband Richard Redy of Harmony Township, NJ; her children, daughter, Kimberly Gossar of Wall Township and her two sons Adam Gossar (Allison Gossar) of Harmony Township and Eric Gossar of Ocean Grove. The daughter of Lillian and the late C. Stewart Hausmann of Wall; sister of Dr. Charles S. Hausmann and Dr. Steven C. ( Elise) Hausmann, two grandchildren; mother-in-law Rita Redy; sister in law Patricia Westman and brother-in-law Ron (Barbara) Redy, stepsons Mark Redy and Colin Redy and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service 11 am on Saturday July 8, 2017 at Church in Brielle 821 Riverview Drive Brielle, NJ 08730.
