Obituary for Tina DiMarino

Tina DiMarino passed away on June 29, 2017. She was born on August 7, 1922 in Guardia Lombardi, Italy to Salvatore and Giuseppa Salierno. Tina came to the United States in 1946 with her husband Ralph who predeceased her in 1976. She is also predeceased by her sisters Grace and Giovanna and her brother Vito. She is survived by her children Joanne (Louis) Sbarra, Dr. Anthony (Dr. Catherine Spina) DiMarino and Tina (Richard) Boylan, her grandchildren Joanne and Joseph Sbarra, her sister Josephine Portanova, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her loving and trusted caregivers Natia and Helen. Tina was employed by the Mount Vernon Police Department for over 30 years as a school crossing guard where she touched many young lives in her own special way. She was devoted to her family and friends and expressed her love by cooking and baking for them. A celebration of Tina’s life will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 4 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at 10am.
