Kara Bednarski Viscito, age 47 of Forked River entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Community Hospital, Toms River, NJ. Kara was born in Bayonne NJ. She worked for the IBM Corporation for many years as the Global Financing Focal.
Kara was a juvenile diabetic, survived myxoid lyposarcoma, a rare form of cancer three times and having been on diaylsis for the past 9 years every day for 8 hours a day but very few people knew of her medical struggles. Her beautiful smile, sense of humor and love of children will be remembered. Everything she did was for her husband and children. She was a Jets season ticket holder for years, bringing her children to the home games; she loved taking them to the Rennaisance Faire in Bordentown, to parks, boardwalks and restaurants.
Kara is survived by her loving husband Raymond, her 3 precious children, Erik 13, Marvin 11, and Samantha 9, her heart-broken parents, George and Karen O'Connell Bednarski, her sister-in-law Nanci Bednarski, her nephew Patrick, niece Juliana, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who will cherish and remember the times spent with them. Kara was predeceased by her two sets of twins, Michael and Kaitlyn and Jessica
and Taylor, and her brother George Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday July 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday July 7, 2017 at St. Pius Church, 300 Lacey Road, Forked River at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Barnegat, NJ.
