The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Angela McLean can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Eulogy.

Mom gained friendship everywhere she lived and many of those friends are here now.   Bill & Wendy, Stu & Gabriel, as a kid I remember the sounds from the parties you guys had in our house, way back in the early eighties. I know Mom had fun with you guys back then. Good times. Thank you for making down here on short notice.   Jeff, my friend from that era, knew my Mom. We were just teenagers. Carefree days. My Mom would later attend Jeff's wedding to his wife Leslie. I remember my Mom being so happy about that day for Jeff.   Row and Frank. A big part of Mom's life. Row so many times visitng Mom at the hospital or nursing home. Thank you. Having us over for Christamas was great.   As we move through life, Mom found herself also moving. Making new friends who she had real connections with. Joan in Muskegon, and Mary, Jan and Nancy would become very close friends and share strength together. This was and still is a bond that will never break.   due to my circumstances in my life, I moved in with my dear Mom only just a few years ago. In St Catharies Mom would chat it up with Lise and I know they became close and enjoyed speaking french, a lot. She loved that. Which was wonderful. Mom's french would outlast her English near the end.   Mom has so much french in her, new Brunswick and that amazing cooking.   Lise, I know your speaking french to my Mom was a very enjoyable for her. All your visits to the hospital, thank you.   Jen and I thank those who could not make it today, but have communicated their feelings. Including,   Nurusing staff:       Deb Quirk       Nancy       All those at Upper Canda Lodge who do more then there jobs. They too have feelings and empathy for those in need and carry some of that     weight with them.    Freinds:       Judy and Paul Mara     Joan.   Family:       Aunt Jean & Roland     Uncle Emler and Aunt Stephanne     Uncle Gee and Suzan   -------------------------   Mom and Dad came together and brought myself and Jen to the world.   Moms cooking was so great, unbeatable really.   My Mom was always , MOM,  even just a few months back, when I could not understand what she was saying , I just knew that she was saying something to help me. Maybe a comment about getting a hair cut or something. She would be checking me out and I know she wanted to straighten out my shirt or something. She never wavered from being Mom to Me and Jen.   Finally,   Blue eyes right to the end. in the collage here, you can see what amazing eyes our Mom had, so blue and had a way of looking directly into your soul I felt. This black and white picture from her wedding shows how beautiful my Mom was and still is. Only a few days back, Jen my Father and I saw those eyes still alive and blue as ever.   Our Mom.
