Condolence: I was shocked to read his obit. What a great person. I got to know Richard in Panama. He was stationed at one Fort and I was at another, but we lived in the same apartment building. We got to be good friends with him and had many good times together. When I got stationed at Ft.Lee in 1982 we got to be good friend again, I would go to his parents farm and help doing whatever and he helped me move into the House we still live in. What a great person and family. Gone way to early in life. RIP my friend.
