Service for Alice Mary Mae Pate Winsett, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Winsett, Jared Winsett, Rodney Fowler, Maxie Fowler, Jr., J.D. Winsett, Jeremy Stone-Love, Payton Thrasher, and James Stone. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Alice Mary Mae Pate Winsett passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 in Keene. She was born Aug. 12, 1925 in Durant, OK to Isaac Irving and Una Mae Abel Pate. She married Ashley Dosson Winsett on Nov. 7, 1942 in Durant, OK and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2007, after 64 years of marriage.
Mrs. Winsett was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother and a dear friend to many. She was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharron Leck of Cleburne, Diana Reynolds of Arlington, and Sue McCoy and husband Terry of Joshua; son, Mike Winsett and wife Nena of Cleburne; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, additional family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Edward Winsett; three sisters, Janie Catherine French, Heather Obedience Covey and Opal Henry Hull; and two brothers, Jessie Earl Pate and Leslie Isaac Pate.
