Condolence From: Edward Vermeulen
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Chmilar family on the passing of their matriarch, Paulina.

I unfortunately did not enjoy the pleasure of knowing Paulina during the prime of her life...only during her final years.

Despite this, I can discern that she was a remarkable woman. I know this by the legacy of her children...specifically her daughter Roxanna, with whom she shared a deep, loving and eternal relationship.

Knowing Roxanna well, and acknowledging the degree to which Paulina guided and influenced her life, I look forward to enjoying her legacy for years to come.

Condolence From: Jonathan Chmilar
Condolence: Baba was the only grandparent I ever knew, and she was the greatest one I could ever imagine having. I can't even express how much I will miss her and her apple pies. Where there was Baba there was a food-filled room and all the love in the world. I wish I got the chance to grow up into a young adult with her still around, to play cards with, and to make more warm memories with. My last moment with her was at the Pasanka egg in Vegreville, which is such a memorable moment with me, my sister, and my mom and Baba. Her Ukrainian background always shone through, especially in her holopchi, pedaheh, and borscht.
