Obituary for David Donald Allmer
David Donald Allmer, 65, of LaSalle, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 10, 2017. David was born to Donald and Areatha (Smith) Allmer on August 4, 1951 in Greeley, Colorado.
David was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed working and repairing guns, fishing and hunting. David proudly served his country from 1970 to 1975 in the U.S. Marine Corp. He made many friends in the Evans VFW where he served as commander.
David is survived by his mother, Areatha; sister, Diana (Mitch); and a niece and nephew.
David is preceded in death by his father; sister, Deborah Allmer; and son, Barnes Allmer.
His family takes comfort in knowing that David gave his heart to the Lord who he is now with in Heaven.
A Memorial Service will be on July 17, 2017 at 6:00 pm. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 3501 State St. Evans, CO 80620.
