Born on May 21, 1968 he was the devoted son of the late Christine Allen and the late Jerry Mostella
Beloved husband of Barbara Beth and loving father to Tyreesa Vann, Dana Vann, Phylicia Vann, Peyton Allen & Olivia Allen. Loyal Grandfather to Aamayah Vann-Paige, Aalitah Vann-Gay, Neveha Vann, Dana Vann Jr., Nathan Vann, Joseph Hudson & William Spencer and devoted brother to Donald (Sheri), Darnell, Vernell, Verilea (Patrick), Vivian, Virgil, Vacecezil, Robert, Leonidas (Linda), Jerry (Mary), Stephanie (Franky), Ricky (Dyra) and Jerry (Emily), Annice (John), Mandie, Catherine, James (Mary), Robert (Eddie Mae), Jimmie, Mary, Iuta (Joe), Melvin, Howard (Trish), Phil (Mary), Angilu (Albert), Annie, David, and Susie Bell and life-long friend Terrance Ellison.

Dana loved his family most of all, dancing and listening to all types of music would bring him much joy. Throwing the football, playing badminton in the back yard and just enjoying his time with the kids are some of the things he valued in life. He would always offer words of encouragement when you needed it most.

As husband and wife we shared 27 breathtaking years together. It wasn't an easy journey, but a journey worth while.

What I would give for just one more day. You will be greatly missed.
