Jessie Kay Jackson, 66 of China Spring, TX, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2017. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 16 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. A graveside service officiated by Lance Donaldson will be held on Monday, July 17 at 10:00 am at Bosqueville Cemetery.

Kay was born on July 2, 1951 in Waco, TX to Jesse and Marie Davis. She attended University High School. After high school she married Larry Jackson of Waco, TX. The two made a life together and had two sons, Johnny and Charlie. Kay pursued a career in manufacturing and, after retiring, became self-employed. She loved doting on her grandchildren and great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Jackson, grandson JJ Jackson, sister Brenda Woodard, brother-in-law Claude Woodard, sister Bridgette Griffith, and brothers Jackie Davis and Dwayne Davis.

Kay is survived by her son Johnny Jackson and his wife Karen of Waco; her son Charlie Jackson and his wife Leah of Crandall, TX; her grandchildren Katilynn, Andrew, Avery, and Jeremy, and great granddaughters Paizlee and Lilyana; her brother Kenny Davis and his wife Elaine of Lorena; brother Joe Davis of Waco; brother Loy Davis of Waco, brother Perry Davis and his wife Tracy of Midlothian; brother Michael Davis of Okanagan, WA, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
