Stephen LeRoy  Hough
Stephen LeRoy Hough, 71, of rural Piedmont, MO, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born November 2, 1945, to the late Marvin Hough and Della (Raymer) Hough in East Alton, IL.
Stephen joined the United States Marines on May 28, 1964, and faithfully served his country during the Vietnam War as a Radiotelephone Operator. He later started his own window washing business, where he worked until retirement.
He is survived by two brothers, Randy Hough and his wife Twila of Council Bluff, IA, and Gary Hough and his wife Willie of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Marybeth Vasser of Council Bluff, IA, and Patricia Smith and her husband Dan of Omaha, NE; a special cousin Kevin Raymer, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation was held Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Services followed at the chapel at 1:00 pm. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Kevin Raymer, Jason Raymer, Randy Hough, Gary Hough, Marybeth Vasser and Carl Randolph served as pallbearers. Burial followed at Raymer Cemetery near Ellsinore, MO, with the United States Marine Corps and Arnold Hodge Post #281 American Legion, Piedmont, MO, providing military honors.
